The summer in Sedona is my favorite time to be there. Excellent weather and fewer tourists!
The heat doesn’t bother me (or my daughter), so we hike from about noon until dark (and sometimes after dark, which is a whole other dimension of experience ;-D).
Hiking in the Sedona summer is a serious matter, and as long as one respects the elements and prepares accordingly, a great time can and will be had!
